Arrival in Nairobi

As you disembark your flight from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are met by our jovial driver guide, who will whisk you to your hotel in the heart of the capital city of Kenya, The Fairmont Norfolk Hotel. The hotel boasts of elegant rooms that will be the start of your journey through East Africa.

Full Day Excursions in Nairobi

Exploring Nairobi takes us to the Elephant Orphanage, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where we spend an hour learning about the orphaned elephants while they have a mud bath and are fed. Next on the agenda, we visit the Karen Blixen Museum which is a favorite for its historical impact and finally the National Museum for a cultural and historical experience. Our last stop is at the Giraffe Centre, where we get kisses from the residents. Later, we will head back to our hotel for a relaxing evening.

After a sumptuous breakfast at your hotel, we drive to the Wilson Airport, to catch our flight to Amboseli National Park. The park is home to some of the oldest Tusker elephants strolling through the savannah majestically. Kibo Safari Camp will be our place of rest for the next two nights. Enjoy the ultimate Safari experience sleeping under canvas and waking up to breathtaking views of Mt Kilimanjaro – the comfortable sofa on the large verandah deck allows day-time chilling and relaxation.

Amboseli National Park -Game Drives

Starting the safari in the morning hours is the best time as the big cats are on a mission to get the best breakfast. The predators are hunting during the early morning hours when the prey is most active.Mid morning hours are lazy hours for most of the wildlife as it the hottest time of the day. This is the best time to admire Mount Kilimanjaro and capture the memorable photographs. Enjoy more wildlife like the hippos, zebras, hyenas, impalas before going back to the camp for a delicious dinner.

You will have breakfast at your camp and then be transferred to Amboseli Airstrip for your flight to Kamok Airstrip, Nanyuki. We will spend two nights in the Mutara Conservancy that borders the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Our accommodation will be at Mutara Camp which enjoys scenic views of raw, uninterrupted wilderness. Huge Herds of elephants and more iconic wildlife can be seen from your luxury tent balcony. Get ready for a memorable time.

After breakfast, we will embark on game viewing experience in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the only other park in Kenya where you can see the big five. Expert guides will show you the right spots for game viewing, and take you through the Rhino Sanctuary, where all efforts are now geared towards the saving the species. You will traverse the golden savannas seeing exciting wildlife sightings.

Enjoy breakfast and then be transferred to the local airstrip for your flight to Maasai Mara. Maasai Mara Game Reserve is globally known for the wildlife experiences. Game viewing is superb through out the year because of high concentration of wildlife. From the African big five to the smaller wildlife, like gazelles, antelopes, warthogs, Maasai Mara is packed with exhilarating wildlife interactions.
