5-Day Marangu Route Luxury Climbing On Kilimanjaro

Safari summary

The 5-Days Marangu Route is one of the routes approaching the southern part of Mount Kilimanjaro. Known as the Coca-Cola Route, it offers a shorter path to the acclimatization point with permanent accommodations at huts and campsites. The route descends via Mweka and is shorter with a steeper incline, which allows less time for acclimatization, leading to a lower summit success rate.
Marangu is the oldest established route and is considered the easiest on the mountain. It provides trekkers with a wonderful hiking experience and sweeping views all the way to the summit of Uhuru Peak. Unique among the Kilimanjaro routes, Marangu does not allow camping but offers permanent huts that provide protection from wind and rain, making it popular during the rainy season (late March and May).
The Marangu Route offers variations of 5 to 6 days to reach the destination, making it a favorable choice for travelers with limited time. For an unforgettable experience, consider using Rede Tours and Safaris for your trekking adventure.
