You will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your driver will meet you and take you to your hotel in Arusha. This is a small city at the base of Mount Meru. After check-in, you can rest from your flight, enjoy the quiet surroundings, and have dinner at the lodge.

After breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is known for its large herds of elephants and tall baobab trees. This morning, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater is home to many animals, including the rare black rhino.
