The safari starts around 8 a.m., after your breakfast. The safari guide will pick you up at your hotel, lodge, or hostel in Arusha. The drive to Tarangire National Park takes about 2 hours, and you will be at the gate of Tarangire National Park at about 10 a.m. From here, you will already start your safari; you will have a full-day game drive in the national park. Today, we'll start early in the morning, at around 7:00 a.m., to drive to Ngorongoro Crater. On this half-day game drive, you will have the chance to see many animals, and it's also the best chance to see rhinos. At the lake, you will have lunch and observe hippos. At around 3:00 pm, you will start the drive back t o the lodge for overnight.
