Itinerary

ARRIVAL

We will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport –, and meet the safari guide who will be with you on your safari (Flight details to be advised) Our guide will help you with luggage in your comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle and safely start to drive for 1 hour to your hotel in Arusha town. You will be assisted to check in at the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – THE ELEPHANTS HEAVEN AND BAOBABS TREES. This charming quiet park is a hidden jewel, especially when you like to experience an authentic safari in northern Tanzania. Its unique landscape, dotted with thousands of baobabs is spectacular. This park has one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the world. In the afternoon you will have your lunch and proceed with your game drive.

Here you will first start to appreciate the majesty of one the largest intact caldera in the world. You will descend into the crater floor for a half day game drive and watching. This will take up to 1hour drive to crater. All of the big 5 including rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalo, and elephants live in this wonderful caldera alongside zebras, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas, and many more. View spectacular birds including flamingos on the Soda Lake, geese, storks, and vultures.

Several game drives can be undertaken here and might reveal lions in sizeable pride, hippo, or herds of elephants, whose populations in the park have risen in recent times. You will have lunch in the afternoon served with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Then continue with an afternoon game drive in the vast Serengeti National Park until sunset then drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight Staying.

After a breakfast at the camp, depart with a packed lunch driving from Central to Northern Serengeti National Park. You will witness the Hundreds of Migrating Wildebeest and Zebras crossing the Mara River. The constant movement of columns of wildebeest, joined by a host of companions, follow an age-old route in search of grazing and water. Afternoon you will enjoy your Lunch, then choose to continue with the game drive until sunset or head back to the camp for relaxation.

NORTHERN SERENGETI

You will have 2 days in Northern Serengeti, while enjoying the migration. The dramatic river crossings are exhilarating to watch, the migration is the movement of vast numbers of the Serengeti's wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebra, and smaller numbers of Grant's gazelle, Thomson's gazelle, eland and impala. Afternoon you will have your lunch, then choose to continue with the game drive until sunset or going back to the camp for relaxation, dinner and overnight staying.
