TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Tarangire
Breakfast, and a short brief from your safari guide. During the dry season, thousands of animals migrate to Tarangire National Park from the surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas. Elephants are the undisputed stars of Tarangire, and during the dry season, the park boasts one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the world. Lunch will be provided at midday at one of the park's picnic sites, accompanied by a selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and soft drinks.
CRATER RIM – KARATU
LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Lake Manyara
After breakfast you will depart with your packed lunch for Lake Manyara National Park, famously known as "the home of the tree-climbing lions." Lake Manyara National Park is a scenic gem, once described by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa.” Despite being one of Tanzania’s smaller parks, Lake Manyara is renowned for its treeclimbing lions, the world’s largest population of baboons, over 400 species of birds, and the soda-ash lake adorned with pink-hued flamingos.
