Itinerary
Entebbe– Queen Elizabeth National
Queen Elizabeth
Our representative will be there to greet you when you land in Entebbe. Take a westward route through the Ankole highlands. After taking some pictures at the equator, continue on to Mbarara Town for lunch. Before you reach the resort, take a wildlife drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. After unwinding, you leave for an evening nighttime game drive to see the park's animals and avian residents. Having supper and staying the night at the Lodge.
The Gorge of Kyambura
After morning breakfast, you'll take a car to Kyambura Gorge, where you'll go on a guided forest walk to see if you can spot any of the habituated chimpanzees or other monkeys that live there. After lunch, you may head along the Kazinga Channel to watch as various types of wildlife travel from the forest to the ocean. After the launch, you may drive back to the Lodge and unwind for the rest of the day. Having supper and staying the night at the Lodge.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable
After breakfast, head south via Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth, to Bwindi Forest, where you can see renowned tree-climbing lions. Elephants, buffaloes, lions, kobs, waterbuck, leopards, and spotted hyenas are just some of the animals you could encounter along the way. Amazing salt lakes and dry crater lakes await you as you explore the park's volcanic region. Eat dinner and stay the night at the Lodge.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Bwindi Impenetrable
Take a packed breakfast and head out for a day of gorilla tracking. After briefing from our guides, we'll head out into the bush in search of the endangered mountain gorilla. Finding the gorillas can take up to two to six hours, depending on the habits of the elusive apes. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rub shoulders with one of the world's remaining 650 mountain gorillas, whether a silverback measuring 350 pounds or a young gorilla. Later enjoy your dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Lake Bunyonyi
Lake Bunyonyi, often known as "the lake of small birds" due to the abundance of avian life there, should be your first stop after breakfast. Take a boat out on this picturesque tiny lake framed by lush hills and relax. It's time to get back to the hotel for some rest and a good meal.
Lake Bunyonyi – Entebbe
You should leave the lush highlands behind and head to Kampala after breakfast. On the way back, we'll pass herds of Ankole cattle, known for their extraordinarily long curved horns. Gather in the terminal because we need to get to the airport for our departure.
