Itinerary
Day 01
Tarangire
Depart from Arusha after breakfast for a two-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the scenery and insights from your driver-guide. In Tarangire, the 'Elephant Playground,' you'll see elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, and more. Spot smaller creatures like color-changing agama lizards and hyraxes. Bird enthusiasts can look for lilac-breasted rollers, superb starlings, ostriches, and secretary birds.
Day 02
Lake Manyara
You'll be picked up at 8 am for a two-hour journey to Lake Manyara. The park, along the Rift Valley Escarpment, features a shimmering lake, rich vegetation, and diverse wildlife. Marvel at pink flamingoes, over 400 bird species, and varied terrain from forests to savannah. Look for monkeys, lions, giraffes, warthogs, and Cape buffalo. Don't miss the hippo pool! After a game drive and lunch, you'll head to Karatu in the Ngorongoro highlands to spend the night at your lodge.
Day 03
Serengeti
After breakfast, you'll travel 166 km (about 3 ½ hours) to the stunning Serengeti National Park. By late morning, you'll begin a game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its diverse wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Your knowledgeable driver-guide will help you spot lions, leopards, elephants, zebras, cheetahs, and antelopes. Enjoy the moment and capture some memorable photos. DAY 04
Serengeti
Waking up in the Serengeti is truly special. After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive with your expert driver-guide. Marvel at the stunning scenery, ever-changing light, and captivating wildlife. Explore the Seronera River area and iconic rocky outcrops known as kopjes, home to lions, snakes, and hyraxes. Day 05
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the amazing Serengeti, particularly in the popular Seronera area known for its wildlife abundance. Visit the informative visitor center to learn about the park's ecosystem and conservation history. Look out for lions, hippos, and elephants along the Seronera River. After lunch, head southeast toward Ngorongoro Crater, passing the vast Serengeti plains. Stop at Naabi Hill Gate for information and breathtaking views before continuing your journey.
