This safari takes you to the smallest savannah national park situated in western Uganda in Kiruhura, Isingiro and Mbarara districts. The park is blessed with wildlife which you will explore while on a game drive. Among the animals to spot include zebras, buffaloes, hippos, warthogs, leopards, jackals, elands among others.

Arrival and transfer to Lake Mburo

On arrival at the airport, you will be picked up by your driver-guide and transfer to Lake Mburo national park using Masaka road. This is the nearest national park from Kampala the capital city of Uganda. The journey is wonderful as you pass through lush greenery, steep landscapes, rugged hills and a mass of serene countryside. Have a stopover at the Uganda equator in Kayabwe, where you will have a chance to buy some souvenirs and also take some photos.

Game drive and Boat cruise

Embark on the morning game drive in the park after breakfast where you will encounter different wildlife and among other animals spotted here in the tracks are zebras, elands, waterbucks, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas and Topis. The game drive takes about 2-3 hours and, in the afternoon, embarks on a boat cruise along Lake Mburo where you will spot hippos and crocodiles. You even have an option of sport fishing.

Take a bush walk safari around the park if time allows after your relaxed breakfast where you will spot different wildlife.
