Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla Park

Start the journey to Mgahinga national park – the starting point for Mount. Gahinga hiking and adventure. The journey is amazing and takes about 7-8 hours’ drive with a stopover at the Uganda equator. Mgahinga national park is one of the few national parks in Africa that shelter mountain gorillas.

Drive to the park headquarters where you will receive briefing and then ready with your drinking water, maybe a snack and then start the hike through the forest. Here you will spot a number of attractions such as red-tailed monkeys, golden monkeys among others and different bird species that sing beautiful songs.
