Nairobi National Park adventure is a unique treat for any guest keen on experiencing a taste of Kenya's wildlife and natural resource. The Park is located just 10km from Nairobi's CBD thus qualifying as the only National Park in the world situated amidst a capital city. It is the oldest National Park in Kenya, established in 1964 and covers an area of 117sq km. The Park is fiercely beautiful consisting areas of savannah grasslands, forest glades, cliffs, valleys and wetlands. It is a haven for both wildlife and birdlife and has different types of trees and bushes. A variety of grazing herbivores can easily be spotted such as Zebras, Eland, Buffaloes, Gazelles, Giraffes and the endangered black and white Rhinoceros. Carnivores found here includes Lions, Hyenas, Jackals, Cheetah and the Leopard.
Bird watching is relatively easy from the park's undisturbed grasslands, forests and wetlands. Visitors have a unique experience watching and photographing animals from untamed wilderness while facing a backdrop of city buildings.
