Samburu National Reserve is a distinctive wildlife conservation area renowned for its "Samburu Special Five," a collection of rare animal species that includes the Grevy's Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, and Gerenuk.
Aberdare National Park, nestled within the scenic Aberdare Mountain Range in central Kenya, is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna. The park provides a sanctuary for iconic species such as elephants, black rhinos, bongos, leopards, and spotted hyenas. Its lush forests are teeming with chats from the olive baboons and black-and-white colobus monkeys, while the grasslands are inhabited by herds of buffalo, warthogs, and bushbucks.
Distinguished by its expansive African savannahs and rugged landscapes, the Maasai Mara is an ideal setting for a vast assortment of wildlife, both big and small. Here, you might encounter majestic lions, swift cheetahs, elusive leopards, formidable rhinos, and a host of other creatures.

Nairobi to Samburu

You will be met by our representative at either JKIA or your hotel and introduce you to our expert safari guide. Your journey to the Samburu Reserve includes a breathtaking countryside drive. If the day is clear, you'll get to marvel at the grandeur of Mt. Kenya. Upon reaching the camp, you'll check-in, indulge in a satisfying lunch and take a well-earned break. At 4:00 pm, enjoy your first game drive, spotting a variety of wildlife and return to the camp at sunset to freshen up.

Awaken to the beautiful melodies of the birds songs, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast and depart for an extensive morning game-viewing drive and later return to the camp for your hot lunch. The reserve is famous for the Samburu special 5, namely, the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, and the Beisa Oryx. Afterwards return to the camp to savor a hot lunch and relax. Later at 4:00 pm you'll have the opportunity of another exhilarating adventure.

After breakfast, check out and experience an exhilarating game drive en route to the exit. Thereafter, depart for Aberdare Country Club, check-in, and enjoy a mouth-watering lunch. This morning, pack a few essentials like clothes and toiletries in a rucksack for your overnight stay, as your other bags will be secured in the Country Club's locker. After lunch, board the shuttle to The Ark, located in the heart of the Aberdare Ranges. Enjoy a game drive en route and spend your day at leisure.

Aberdare to Lake Naivasha
After mouth-watering breakfast, you will be transferred back to Aberdare Country Club where you'll meet your guide and depart for Lake Naivasha having a stopover at the Equator to witness an impressive demonstration on Coriolis force. Later, proceed with the drive arriving at the immaculately maintained Naivasha Sopa Lodge on the shores of the lake, check-in, enjoy a scrumptious lunch and relax. Afterwards, you will have a boat ride on the lake to sight the hippos and the aquatic birdlife.

After breakfast, you'll head to Kenya's most renowned reserve, the Maasai Mara. You'll drive through picturesque landscapes, passing by lush, fertile farmlands that belong to both small-scale and large-scale farmers. You'll make a brief stop in Narok before continuing to the Maasai Mara entrance, where you'll check in and then proceed to the camp for check-in, enjoy a tasty lunch and unwind. At 4:00 pm, you'll set off for an evening game drive, returning to the camp just before sunset.

After a hearty breakfast, you will set out for an adventurous game drive, bringing along a picnic lunch to maximize your time for extensive game viewing. Your guide will select a scenic spot in the savannah where you'll pause to enjoy your picnic meal. Afterward, you'll continue the game drive as you make your way back to the camp. Once there, you can freshen up and savor a cup of Kenya’s finest coffee.

Your long-anticipated safari has come to a close, hoping that your dream vacation was filled with amazing memories to share with your family and friends. Today, you'll enjoy a delicious breakfast before checking out from the camp. You'll then be driven back to Nairobi, where you'll arrive just in time for lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. After lunch, you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight home.
