Safari summary

The four days primate trips starts with a night in Entebbe with two nights in the park. On your arrival in Entebbe you will be picked up from the airport on your arrival and transfer to a mid range hotel in Entebbe for Dinner and overnight. The next day may choose to fly to the park in the morning or in the afternoon and so can choose to spend your morning exploring the town of Entebbe or at leisure in the park. A driver will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Entebbe airport for a schedule charter flight to Bwindi Forest national park, This scenic flight will offer you an opportunity to enjoy the Ariel view of the beautiful changing Landscape. The flight is only for 2 hours on the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. On your arrival at the Airstrip, you will be transferred to the lodge for dinner and overnight. The third day is the activities day After breakfast at the lodge the trekking begins around 08:00 with a briefing from UWA staff. This day make sure you carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. Afternoon visit the village around the Bwindi Mountain forest, the Buhoma village and learn their ways of life around the the forest also being a great way of supporting the community around the forest. Late afternoon return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Our last day to go back to Entebbe and so we do have an option of flying in the morning or afternoon that way can still enjoy a morning at leisure at the forest lodge before flying to Entebbe to connect your flight back home.
