Itinerary
Airport to Nairobi - City Tour
You will be picked up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by an Africa Starpal Tours & Safari representative and transferred to Airport View Plaza to check in. Should we arrive too early, we will visit the Giraffe Center and the National Museum in Nairobi. Afterward, we return for dinner and your overnight stay.
Nairobi - Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and head to the Masai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. You will arrive in time for lunch. Check in at Mara Lenchada tourist Camp for lunch. Go on an afternoon game drive through the reserve in search of lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, other members of the Big Five, and many more. Return for dinner and your overnight stay at Rhino Tourist Camp.
Masai Mara full-day game drive
After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in the reserve with a picnic lunch. You will search for the popular residents like the well-known predators and their prey like zebra, wildebeest, and giraffe. At the Mara River, you will spot hippos and dangerous crocodiles. Head to Rhino tourist Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru
Have an early breakfast at your lodge whereafter you will check out and head for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive at Lanet Matfam Resort in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive to see one of the world's largest birding sights, the famous flamingoes. You will spot a variety of wildlife including the white and black rhino which are residents of the park. Return to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.
Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha
After an early breakfast, we will proceed on a morning game drive as we exit the park and drive to Lake Naivasha. This is a freshwater lake which is also inhabited by birds and other game. We will do a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, and then proceed to our lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we visit Hell's Gate for a walking safari. We will enjoy dinner and our overnight stay at the lodge.
Naivasha - Amboseli
After an early breakfast at the lodge, we depart for Amboseli National Park. There will be a stopover to view the Great Rift Valley scenery as you proceed to the park. Enjoy an en-route game drive to the lodge for lunch. The park is famous for its scenery with the backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro which dominates the landscape and its open plains. In the late afternoon, we go on a game drive. We will enjoy dinner and our overnight stay at Kimana Tented Camp.
Amboseli game drive
We’ll watch the light breaking over the park and catch the wildlife as it appears on the savannah. Our next assignment is breakfast! We then go on another morning game drive through the park. This makes the game spotting easier. We’ll be looking for lion and leopard and the park’s almost ever-present great parade of elephants. Seeing the magnificent elephants patrolling in line before the majesty of Kilimanjaro is a special treat in this reserve.
Amboseli - Tsavo West
We will go on an early-morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, then return to your lodge for breakfast. Afterward, we depart for Tsavo West. We will enjoy a game drive en-route to the lodge where we will check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the Rhino Sanctuary and return to the lodge. We will enjoy dinner and our overnight stay at Ngulia Lodge.
Tsavo West - Tsavo East
You will have a morning game drive with a visit to Mzima Springs where you can view fish, crocodiles, hippos, and other aquatic animals from an underground observation tank. We will have a game drive en-route to Red Elephant Lodge where we will have lunch. In the late afternoon, we head out on a game drive in search of the red elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and many others, including the cats. We will have dinner and an overnight stay.
Tsavo East to Mombasa Diani Beach
After an early breakfast, we check out of the camp with an en-route game drive. We head for Nairobi, arriving at lunchtime. We will drop you off at your hotel or airport for your next destination. Alternatively, we can arrange for a drop-off at Mombasa or Diani Beach.
