Kampala to Bwindi forest

Bwindi Impenetrable

Your driver guide will meet you very early in the morning to pick you up from your hotel or airport and you will share a brief thereafter set out to the south of Uganda. This is an 8 hour road transfer so you will have an enroute lunch and head out further to the Bwindi forest. You may have an experiential at the Equator before heading out. Arrive at your accommodation later in the evening for dinner and night stay.

Bwindi Impenetrable

Wake up excited for the first encounter with the mountain gorillas of Bwindi. Connect to the briefing point for a brief from the rangers on the expectations of this activity. Once you are ready, head out to the forest for the experience. You may search for an hour to 6 hours all depending on how far into the forest the gorilla family may be. Enjoy a packed lunch or a hot lunch back at the lodge. Exit the forest back to your accommodation for the rest of the day.

Second mountain gorilla encounter

Bwindi Impenetrable

This is a second chance to encounter the mountain gorillas. You may opt to visit the sane family or a different one for a different experience however, every day is a different experience even with the same gorilla family. You will exit the forest after you have completed the activity and connect back to your accommodation for a late lunch. You may connect for an optional community visit if you are interested. End the night in Bwindi at the hotel as night before.

Drive back to Kampala

The last day of a safari always comes so fast and this day you will set out back to your hotel in Entebbe or you will be dropped off at the Entebbe International airport for your flight back home as you may advise.
