The suitcases are packed, and now we're off. You land at Entebbe airport, where your tour guide will happily greet you and take you to the hotel. The route to your hotel covers approximately 5 kilometers. The journey time is around 20 minutes.

You drive through numerous villages and bush landscapes to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where white rhinos, which have been extinct in the wild After this impressive experience, you continue your journey to the Murchison Falls, the Victoria Nile forces itself with enormous force through a gap that is only seven meters wide and falls about 40 meters into the depths. Finally, you cross the Nile over a bridge and get transferred to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Begin your guided forest trek in search of chimpanzees. Although chimp sightings are not guaranteed, the odds are good that you'll encounter them today in the lush green forest. Perhaps you'll also see other types of primates, including the red-tailed monkey. The hike will last approximately 2-3 hours while your expert guide shares the secrets of the forest's flora and fauna. After lunch, a drive takes you past volcanic crater lakes to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Around 100 mammals and more than 500 bird species feel right at home. You go on a game drive to look for elephants, buffalo, and various species of antelope. You will then be transferred back to the lodge where you will be served lunch and then proceed to the docking area for your Kazinga Channel boat cruise experience. While on your afternoon boat cruise, you will see various animals both in water and on land. You will then be transferred back to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Today you go on a very interesting journey from Queen Elizabeth National Park towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The landscape changes from savannah to swamp to rainforest, always with the backdrop of the Virunga Mountains in the background. The path leads past villages and small towns. In the late afternoon, you will reach your accommodation near the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.Relax a bit in your accommodation in preparation the the next day's activities.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the briefing area where you will be allocated a gorilla family, and with your packed lunch, your group will be guided through the rough terrain of the rainforest in search of one of the park's gorilla families. When a gorilla family is found, you'll be allowed an hour in their company. You will then trek back to the briefing area where you will be awarded certificates of participation. You will then be transferred back to the lodge.

Wave goodbye to the gorillas again before continuing to Lake Mburo National Park today. Along the way, intensively farmed mountains and deep valleys create an interesting pattern in the otherwise lush green landscape of the Gorilla Highlands. We continue through the former kingdom of Ankole. With a bit of luck, you can spot the impressive Ankole long-horned cattle with their huge horns on the side of the road. In the afternoon you will have a enroute game drive as you transfer to the lodge.

Today you have to get up early again because at the end of the trip, you are going on a walking tour in Lake Mburo National Park. With a bit of luck, you'll be able to sneak up close to the topis, oribis, and impalas that only live here. At midday, you pass the equator again on the way back to Entebbe. Then it's time to say goodbye to the "Pearl of Africa" because your return flight back home from Entebbe starts today.
