Your trip will begin with an early morning departure from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. The drive takes about 1 to 6 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Upon arrival at the park, you will be briefed by the park rangers about the gorilla trekking experience. You will then be assigned to a group of eight people and a park ranger to search for a gorilla family in the Virunga Mountains. After the trek, return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest and a hot shower.
