Volcanoes
On the third day, we embarked before dawn to seek golden monkeys at Volcanoes National Park. These rare primates dwell solely in the park's high bamboo forests, classified as endangered. Encountering one of the populations, comprising about 80 individuals, we marveled at their agile play among the treetops. After lunch in Ruhengere, we journeyed south to Kigali, savoring the picturesque hills en route. Arriving in Kigali after hours, we settled into our accommodations, unwinding over dinner.
