Day 2: Explore Tarangire

With a lazy breakfast, your guide will pick you up and proceed to Tarangire National park one of the largest national park in Tanzania located in Manyara region, this place is characterized by the large herds of elephants, tree climbing lions, and the fascinating baobab trees also called the Tree of Life for its almost mythical powers that some cultures attach to it. This park is especially known for Tarangire River which flows all year round and the only source of water for wild animals

Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, proceed to enter the fascinating Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive through the rolling hills. The crater looks like a forgotten world. The crater is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve that is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the African continent. After you descend into the Crater, you will meet wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, Black rhinos and more than 500 bird species.

Half day Game drive in Lake Manyara

Today we shall have a half day game drive to Lake Manyara National Park which is is one of Tanzania’s smaller parks but still offers a rewarding and diverse safari experience. Manyara teems with birdlife, and while you are looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. There are a surprising number of other large mammals and the striking cliffs on the Rift escarpment form a dramatic backdrop. Enjoy a picknic lunch before saying farewell to your driver guide.
