Itinerary

Nairobi to Masai Mara

Pick up from your hotel/airport at 7:30 am and head straight to the Mara which is a 6-hour drive from Nairobi. On your way, you will enjoy scenic views of the Great Rift Valley, with a short stop at the escarpment for a bathroom break and photography. Your expected time of arrival should be in time for lunch. After a warm meal and slight relaxation, head out for the first game drive of the day. After the evening game drive, head back to your camp/lodge for an overnight stay.

Masai Mara Full Day

Early in the morning after breakfast leave the camp with packed lunch because you will spend the whole day in the park in search of resident wildlife. Depending on your time of visit (July-September) you should witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. A cultural visit - which is a visit to the Masai community to learn about their culture and norms can be done on this day at an extra fee. Later on after a thrilling day full of game drives, head back to your camp for an overnight stay.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Early in the morning after breakfast, check out of your Mara accommodation and head to Lake Nakuru. This should be a 5-hour drive and your estimated time of arrival in Nakuru should be in time for lunch. Check in at your lodge and after a warm meal head out for an evening game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is known for its huge numbers of flamingoes, pelicans, rhinos, zebras buffaloes and many more. After an amazing game drive head back to your lodge for an overnight stay.
