Safari summary

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport by one of our safari representatives and after the briefing starts, you start your safari to Lake Nakuru. Masai Mara

After breakfast you will head further south into the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. You will then get ready for your afternoon game drive, which will take place from 16:00 to 1830. You will have a chance to explore the savanna in search of the “big five” (rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant) in this wonderful game reserve. Other popular animals include zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. After the game drive, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

On this day you enjoy a full day game drive in the Mara after breakfast. You will get a packed lunch and a picnic in the wild. Maasai Mara Game Reserve is renowned for being host to the Great Wildebeest Migration. Millions of wildebeests cross over the Mara River every year from The Serengeti in search of grazing pastures. As they make their way across the Mara River, some of them are eaten by the hungry crocodiles awaiting them on the river banks (from mid-June till the end of October).

On your last day on safari, you will wake up early and leave the camp at 6:30 am for the early morning game drive and the sunrise experience if weather permits and you head back to the camp at 8:30 am. for breakfast and check out to Nairobi arriving mid-afternoon in the city and transferring to your hotel or airport.
