Adding to two memorable days at the game filled plains of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, this safari also takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park. Other than the bird population of different species and especially flamingos that carpet the lake in Nakuru, the park has its fair share of wildlife that include the endangered black rhino. From Lake Nakuru you will proceed to the neaby Lake Naivasha where you will enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha that will take you to Crescent Island for a walking safari – one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals as there are no predators.

Day 1

Amboseli | Kilimanjaro | Nairobi

Day 1: Nairobi/Amboseli Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Amboseli National Park arriving Amboseli Sentrim Camp/Kibo Safari Camp well in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the park, a park famous for its big game and great scenic beauty whose entire landscape is dominated by Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the camp. Meal plan: {L, D}

Day 2

Amboseli | Kilimanjaro

Day 2: Amboseli Early morning pre-breakfast game drive at 6.30am, when you have the best chance to see the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for late breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure. Afternoon game drive. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Sentrim/Kibo Safari Camp. Meal Plan: {B, L, D}

Day 3

Amboseli

Day 3: Amboseli/Nairobi/Lake Naivasha depart for Naivasha, arriving Punda Milias Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals – there are no predators. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: {B, L, D}

Day 4

Lake Nakuru

Day 4: Lake Naivasha/Lake Nakuru Depart Lake Naivasha in the morning and drive via the floor of the Rift Valley with hot or picnic lunch en route to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving for your afternoon game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp/Bontana Hotel. Meal plan: {B, L, D}

Day 5

Lake Nakuru

Day 5: Lake Nakuru/Maasai Mara Depart after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving Mara Sentrim Camp /Ol-Moran Tented Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive that introduces to this vast game filled reserve. Dinner and overnight at the camp. Approx Transit time: 6 hrs Meal plan: {B, L, D}

Day 6

Day 6 & 7: Maasai Mara Spend two days in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Morning and afternoon game drives with the option of visiting a local Maasai village. All meals and overnight at Mara Sentrim/Ol-Moran Tented Camp. Meal plan: {B, L, D}

Day 8

Nairobi

Day 8: Maasai Mara/Nairobi After breakfast drive back to Nairobi arriving approx 14:00 hrs. Drop off at your hotel or transfer to the airport for your onward flight home. Optional lunch at carnivore restaurant. End of services. Approx Transit time: 6 hrs Meal plan: {B}
