Arrival in Arusha - Tarangire
After breakfast, your safari driver-guide will pack your picnic lunch boxes to prepared 4x4 Land Cruiser vehicle, ready for a safari to Tarangire National Park. This park has the highest population density of elephants in Tanzania. Tarangire comprises herds of up to 300 elephants. You will see them as they scratch the dry riverbed for underground streams. Later, you will be transferred to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.
Serengeti National Park
Today, you're off to the famous Serengeti National Park, home of the great migration. Continuing on, as you crest the hillside spread out before you, is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means "endless plains" in Kiswahili and this 18,000 sq. km park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals. This includes more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebra and Thomson's gazelle and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrates throughout the park.
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will proceed with a game drive in the Serengeti National Park while heading to the north in pursuit of the migrating animals. Finally, you will head to the Mara River, where you will try to spot the migration. In the evening you will go to your camp/lodge for dinner and our overnight stay.
Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
You will head out early for a morning game drive to witness the magnificent African sunrise in the bush and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses. Later, you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. Then, in the afternoon, you will head out once more for another chance to explore the plains in search of African wildlife. From here, you will exit the park and make our way to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro
Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After breakfast, you will depart from the campsite with a picnic lunch and descend into the incredible Ngorongoro Crater. Here you will explore the magnificent world of diversity. It is possible to see all of Africa's Big Five within the crater among a vast array of other wildlife, including hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a full day in the crater before departing for Arusha in the late afternoon will be the end of your best 5 days Serengeti safari.
