Day 1:Arusha to Tarangire

Embark on a journey from Arusha along the scenic Arusha – Dodoma highway to Tarangire National Park. Pass by a supermarket for any last-minute essentials and enjoy a 2-hour drive through the picturesque Masai Steppe. Arrive at Tarangire, renowned for its high elephant density and iconic baobab trees, offering year-round wildlife viewing. The Tarangire River ensures a water source even in the dry season, attracting diverse wildlife. Enjoy a lunchtime picnic and head to Karatu for overnight stay.
