DAY 1: ARUSHA TO LAKE MANYARA
Lake Manyara
Leave Arusha, the safari base in northern Tanzania, for a scenic drive along the Arusha-Dodoma highway to Lake Manyara National Park. Optionally, pause at a supermarket for last-minute shopping. After a 2-hour journey through the picturesque Maasai Steppe, your driver handles park formalities, and your first game drive begins. Lake Manyara is an untouched wonder, with a groundwater forest, abundant wildlife, including elephants, hippos, and tree-climbing lions then head to your camp or lodge.
Overnight at Manyara (Mto wa Mbu)
DAY 2: MANYARA TO NGORONGORO-ARUSHA
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater with a lunch box, indulging in over 7 hours of thrilling game drives. Created by an ancient volcano, it's now home to the 'Big Five' and an incredible range of wildlife. Supported by year-round water and food, it houses diverse species, from wildebeest to giant elephants. Predators like lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and elusive leopards await. After a picnic lunch, we return to Arusha or Moshi for an overnight stay
