Arrival and transfer to the hotel

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a Nyanja Safaris Uganda assigned Professional Tour Guide will receive and welcome you to Uganda – the Pearl of Africa. Transfer to the booked accommodation, check in and take your rest. #Optional (extra cost): Just in case you have reached early and interested in some nearby activity, you may consider; an excursion to the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or Mabamba swamp.

Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary- Murchison

Have an early morning breakfast and drive off to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Proceed for an hour of on-foot rhino tracking and then head to Masindi where you will have a lunch stop. After lunch, transfer to Murchison Falls NP where you will have the chance of viewing lions, giraffes, hartebeest, among others. . On top of all that, the concentration of hippos and the Nile crocodiles here will fascinate you. If interested and time allows, you can proceed for a late afternoon-evening game drive.

After breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest National Park and be on the look for wildlife including: Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, and there are quite a number of birds to see too, hence the need to have your Camera ready to capture every moment. Return to the lodge to rest and have lunch. After lunch, you will go for a boat trip where you will see animals like Hippos, Crocodiles and several water birds. Return to the lodge and relax.

Visit to the falls- head to Kibale

You will have breakfast and then drive to the top of the Murchison falls. From the top, we shall transfer for an overnight at edge of Kibale Forest National Park. The beautiful scenery will amaze you all the way. Upon arrival at the lodge, check in and relax. #Optional (extra cost 20$): If interested, you can proceed for the crater lakes excursion and enjoy the stunning views. Otherwise, just enjoy your rest.

Bigodi swamp excursion- Queen

You will have breakfast and proceed for the Bigodi swamp excursion. The wetland boasts an extensive array of biodiversity including several primates like the black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and baboons. It is also a paradise for bird watchers. From Bigodi, we shall transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have lunch, rest and then go out for a game drive where you will see animals like warthogs, elephants, lions, buffaloes among others. Return to the lodge and rest.

You will have an early breakfast and drive out to Kalinzu Forest Reserve, a home to habituated Chimpanzees and other primates like baboons, monkeys and also bird species. You will spend the early part of your day tracking chimpanzees. Return to the lodge to rest and have lunch. After lunch, you will go for a 2-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel where you will see animals like hippos, crocodiles and birds. Thereafter you will go for a late afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge.

You will have an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains where you will see herds of elephants, Cape buffalos, lions, leopards, among others. Return to the lodge and check out then head to Ishasha sector in search of the amazing tree-climbing lions. From Ishasha, we shall continue to the lodge at the edge of Bwindi National Park (Buhoma sector) to relax OR (at extra cost 15$) move out for the late afternoon-to-evening local community and cultural encounter.

Bwindi Forest walk and Water Trail

After your breakfast you will go out for the nature Forest walk along the waterfall trail. This is the perfect way to experience the depth of this “impenetrable” forest. Along the way you will encounter some flora and fauna, black and white colobus monkeys, sometimes blue monkeys among others. Return to the lodge, check out and transfer to the Ruhija sector of Bwindi where we will have the gorilla trekking tomorrow. With a strenuous day ahead, we recommend that we take this afternoon relaxing.

Gorilla trekking- Lake Bunyonyi

You will have breakfast and move to the trekking starting point. You will receive some briefing (from a ranger guide) on the dos and don’ts during trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable and so amazing. After the trek, you will return to the lodge, check out and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort - Budget Level

After days of long drives and of course the strenuous gorilla trekking (previous day) in Bwindi, this day is at your disposal for relaxation. All meals will be served at the lodge. Optional (at extra cost): If you wish to go out for an activity, you may consider the following; Historical Islands’ tour, Batwa/pygmies’ community, Nyombe swamp excursion, Mountain Bike cycling, Zip lining, canoeing or kayaking on the lake. The activity can be arranged onsite with the help of your tour guide.

Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort-Budget Level

Transfer to Lake Mburo NP

Lake Mburo

You will have breakfast and set off to Lake Mburo National Park via Mbarara City. You will arrive at the accommodation in Lake Mburo in time and rest before moving for an afternoon-to-evening game drive. On the game drive, expect to see the zebras, giraffes, Uganda kob, eland antelopes, topi, impalas and buffalos among others. Later, relax at the accommodation where you will spend the night.
