Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival Day

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted with warm hospitality and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. Spend some time in Arusha, both the gateway city for most safaris in northern Tanzania and a fascinating place to explore. Enjoy good restaurants, streets filled with energy and so many snapshots of vibrant Tanzanian city life. It’s everything you look for in an urban pit stop.

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Following breakfast you begin our journey to Tarangire is filled with giant baobab trees all across the park, as well as elephants, lots of them. But that’s just the beginning. Of the big cats, you’ll probably see lions, and cheetahs and leopards around, too. And it’s impossible to miss the wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. In the late evening, you will exit the Park and drive to your accommodation in Mto Wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.

Lake Natron

After breakfast, you are heading to Lake Natron the drive continues on adventurous slopes. The drive leads past Maasai villages and the holy mountain of the Maasai, the Ol Doinyo Lengai. The outlet Lake Natron is the home of a remarkable variety of birds, in particular about 2.5 million dwarf flamingos, the lake serves them as a regular breeding ground. The area around Lake Natron is one of the most beautiful and unspoiled regions in Africa. You'll stay overnight at a campsite at Lake Natron.

Lake Natron - Serengeti

After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti its vast ecosystem and unique wildlife. Known for the world's largest natural migration system, the park hosts over 1.4 million gnus, 300,000 Thomson's gazelles, and 200,000 zebras annually. With about 3 million larger mammals, it boasts the world's richest wildlife. The Serengeti is home to diverse species, including giraffes, buffalo, hyenas, elephants, and a significant predator population of 3000 lions, 300 cheetahs, and 400-700 leopards.

Central Serengeti National Park

Also today you will spend a full day to unforgettable exploring the Central Serengeti, the epicenter of the great wildebeest migration. Witness thrilling wildlife encounters, from lion prides to cheetahs in action, as you become immersed in this natural wonderland

Northern - Central Serengeti Game

Today you will have an early breakfast and start an early morning or sunrise game drive in the northern Serengeti. During the right season, we witness the Mara River crossing of large herds of Wildebeests. Around 10 am you will head back to the campsite for a full breakfast, pack your stuff and proceed with a game drive en route to the Central part of the park. Overnight and dinner will be at your campsite located in the central of Serengeti.

Central Serengeti - Ngorongoro

This morning you will continue with further game drives in the Serengeti, at noon you will leave to the Ngorongoro Crater. Both conservation areas are not separated by fences, on the way you can observe with some luck some more wildlife. You will spend the night in the Simba Camp on the upper crater rim, where you can enjoy a spectacular view and a great sunset.

Ngorongoro Crater

Before breakfast you can enjoy the fantastic the Ngorongoro crater in good weather. Depending on the season, 15,000 to 25,000 animals are gathering here, thereof more than two thirds buffaloes, gnus, zebras and gazelles. This large number of grazers also explains why in the crater the largest density of predators in Africa can be found. The chances of watching the "Big Five" lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. After the tour exit the Crater and drive to Mto Wa Mbu for overnight.

Manyara - Arusha

You will be picked up at your hotel in the morning after breakfast. You drive along with your guide to the Lake Manyara in the East African Rift Valley. The park is dominated by the lake of the same name, which attracts large colonies of water birds. A total of about 400 different bird species live in the park. In the late afternoon you leave the national park, you will spend the night in Arusha at your accommodation.
