6 days Tanzania Serengeti migration safari is the largest herd movement of animals on the planet. In fact, with up to 1,000 animals per km², the great columns of wildebeest can be seen from space. The numbers are astonishing: over 1,2 million wildebeest and 300 000 zebras along with topi and other gazelle move in a constant cycle through the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem in search of nutritious grass and fresh water. We have designed the itinerary which includes both the Lobo area (in the north of the central Serengeti national park) and the wagakuria area (which is located in northern Serengeti national park) it has been found that a majority of the wildebeest migration is normally found from mid -July to October. The migration heading north out of the central Serengeti is splitting into two routes. The main route heading into the western corridor crosses the Grumeti river in spectacular stampedes. Enormous crocodiles wait patiently to snatch wildebeests as they surge across the river. The wildebeest continue to move steadily across the Grumeti region, making another perilous river crossing to cross the Mara River and reach the lush grazing in Kenya's Masai Mara.

NORTHERN SERENGETI (FLY IN)

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel by Kitano tour and safari guide and you will drive to Arusha airport for a flight to north Serengeti. After arrival in Serengeti, you will be proceeding with the game drive in the wilderness tracking the great migration trail. The wildebeest migration is normally found in the wagakuria area from mid-July- October, it’s depending on the rainfall season pattern,

NORTHERN SERENGETI (KOGATENDE

After breakfast, we head towards the northern Serengeti National Park, also known as the Wagakuria. A visitor will do a game drive en route from the Lobo area to the Wagakuria area. As we head north, good sightings of giraffes, plain game, herds of buffalo, and elephants can often be seen. We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and after lunch will we enjoy an afternoon game drive in the area.

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in the wagakuria area most wildlife animals are found in this area however, from mid-July and October the area turns into a wildlife paradise. From the northern Serengeti national park, you can enjoy wildebeest migration across the mara river. A visitor should witness the frantic herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara River is amazing.

Early in the morning after breakfast, a visitor should enjoy a full game drive in the park. The area around Lobo and Grumeti rivers have good resident game throughout the year. Non-migrating animals like elephants, buffalo, gazelle, zebra, lions, leopards, and cheetahs can be seen here all year round. The game viewing is very good and you can follow the game for long periods without seeing other vehicles

After breakfast at the camp, we depart for Serengeti central(seronera) Airstrip and enjoy a game drive en- route. Around mid-morning, a visitor joins a scheduled flight from seronera airstrip to Arusha airport, upon arrival at Arusha airport you will meet our driver who will drive you back to your hotel.
