Day 1: Volcanoes national park

Volcanoes national park is 104 Km away from Kigali. Because of the speed limits imposed by the Rwandan government, it takes approximately 3 hours to connect to the park by road. On arrival at the airport, our driver guide will take care of all your logistics and onward transfer the Parc National des Volcans. Dinner and overnight

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking

Begin at 6:30 am with breakfast and at 8:00 am attend a briefing at the park headquarters about the day’s gorilla trekking rules. Gorilla groups for tracking on this particular day are allocated depending on the guests’ physical fitness. Gorilla trekking experience begins at the edge of the forest. Normally it takes a minimum of an hour to meet the gorillas in the jungle.

Day 3: Cultural & Community visit

Volcanoes

Undertake a community walk to the Iby’iwachu Cultural Village. The traditional dances, poems, and dressing codes in this place are quite memorable. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch and then transfer to Kigali for a scheduled return flight.
