Climbing Time: 5–6 hours Habitat: Moorland Continuing on the trail, we venture beyond the forest, entering a savannah adorned with tall grasses, heather, and volcanic rock embellished with lichen beards. Progressing upward through the lush, undulating hills, we traverse numerous streams until we attain the Shira Ridge. Descending gracefully, we arrive at Shira 1 camp, where the astounding panorama of Kibo unfolds across the plateau

Elevation (ft): 13,800ft to 13,000ft Distance: 7 km Hiking Time: 4-6 hours Habitat: Semi Desert From Shira Plateau, we head east, bypass Kibo's peak junction, and go southeast to Lava Tower, "Shark's Tooth." Reach the second junction, ascend to Arrow Glacier (16,000 feet), then descend to Barranco Hut (13,000 feet). Vital for acclimatization, this day prepares us for the summit, providing respite, dinner, and an overnight stay.

In predawn (midnight to 2 a.m.), ascend to the summit between Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers. Head northwest to Stella Point, the trek's toughest stretch. At Stella Point (18,600 ft), pause for a sunrise. Snow may accompany your 1-hour ascent to Uhuru Peak, the continent's zenith. Descend directly to Mweka Hut camp; have lunch at Barafu. Gaiters and trekking poles are vital for the gravel descent. The evening marks the final mountain dinner, followed by a well-deserved night's rest.

You will travel from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, immersing yourself in vast termite mounds and ancient baobab trees. Witness herds of African elephants dominating the golden savannah and the calls of yellow-collared lovebirds echoing. Tarangire's scenic landscape hosts lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetahs, mongoose, buffaloes, and baboons. Your first night unfolds at comprehensive camping facilities, offering a tantalizing dinner under the stars.

We will begin our day with an early morning game drive in the central Serengeti. The savannah is an active landscape, and the air is flooded with the melodies the birds create as the regenerated sunlight starts to illuminate the full landscape. Your guide will study the prints on the ground to pursue predators. We will travel to the Comprehensive Area, located near the rim of the crater. You will be provided with dinner and satisfactory camping facilities.

Anga'ta Tinted Mid-Range Lodge

On our last tour day, savor Lake Manyara National Park's beauty. Early breakfast precedes a game drive for "Big Five" spotting. Manyara, nestled at the Rift Valley escarpment's base, offers diverse scenery—a golden savannah—and varied wildlife. A picnic lunch by Soda Lake showcases its rich ecosystem. With over 400 bird species, Manyara boasts tree-climbing lions, water buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas, and hippos. Late afternoon, depart for Arusha, concluding the safari adventure.

Arusha

Explore the tortoise sanctuary, which has been housing giant tortoises from the Seychelles since the 19th century. Touch these 200-kg creatures, some over 150 years old, and capture memorable photos. The island hosts a beautiful peacock colony. After a late afternoon drive to Stone Town, you'll be transferred to Nungwi Beach's Smiles Beach Hotel for a delightful dinner and overnight stay on a half-board basis.
