6 days Tanzania great Serengeti migration safari crossing the mara river in northern safari is the largest herd movement of animals on the planet. In fact, with up to 1,000 animals per km², the great columns of wildebeest can be seen from space. The numbers are astonishing: over 1.2 million wildebeest and 300,000 zebras along with Topi and other gazelle move in a constant cycle through the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem in search of nutritious grass and water. We have designed the itinerary which includes both the Lobo area (in the north of the central Serengeti national park) and the wagakuria area (which is located in northern Serengeti national park) it has been found that a majority of the wildebeest migration is normally found from mid -July to October. The migration heading north out of the central Serengeti is splitting into two routes. The main route heading into the western corridor crosses the Grumeti river in spectacular stampedes. Enormous crocodiles wait patiently to snatch wildebeests as they surge across the river. DAY 1: ARUSHA – SERENGETI

Early in the morning you will leave Arusha town and drive toward Serengeti national park via the Ngorongoro conservation area. Serengeti national park is a large national park in northern Tanzania that stretches over 14,763 km2 It is located in the eastern Mara Region, At Lobo area is where a wildebeest migration, normally pass in every year around July /august end route to Kenya’s Masai Mara reserve and again in late October / November and the end route to southern Serengeti national park.

DAYS 2: FULL-DAY SERENGETI

Early in the morning after breakfast, a visitor should enjoy a full-day game drive at Serengeti national park we descend toward the Lobo area and Grumeti River which is located just north of the sooner area (central Serengeti national park). The wildebeest migration normally passes through the Lobo area and Grumeti river around July and October. We will enjoy a game drive until the afternoon in Serengeti national park.

DAYS 3: SERENGETI (CENTRAL)

we head toward the northern Serengeti national park, also known as the wagakuria area we do the game drive route from the Lobo area to the Wagakuria area. As we head north,We arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and after lunch, we will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the area. The wildebeest migration can normally be found in the Wagakuria area from Mid-July to October, depending on rainfall patterns. A long stretch of the Mara River runs through the northern Serengeti National Park.

DAYS 4: NORTHERN SERENGETI

This camp is used for the Serengeti Mobile Green Camp from July till the end of November when the migration is in the Northern Serengeti and hopefully crossing the Mara River. The camp is approximately 20 minutes from the Mara River and set up on a ridge under large evergreen trees overlooking a large part of the Northern Serengeti wilderness zone, A visitor can also use Hot Air Balloon to enjoy wild animals in this area.

DAYS 5: SERENGETI (CENTRAL)

This park is normally the scene of the annual wildebeest and zebra migration between the Kenya mara and Serengeti it includes a variety of bird species After having your lunch, you will proceed with the game drive to view and see wild animals located in Serengeti. Thereafter you will transfer to the gate of Serengeti to check out of Serengeti national park, after there you will proceed with the game on the route to Ngorongoro crater.

DAYS 6: NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast, we proceed to descend into the crater and enjoy the game drive by looking at wild animals for more than 7 hours. Here you will explore the forest areas inhabited by monkeys and elephants, where we may see flamingo wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, lion, and elephants, a visitor should enjoy the game drive at Ngorongoro crater by looking at a wild animal, after a short period you will drive back to Arusha/ Moshi for overnight.
