Your One Day Safari to Tarangire National Park will start and finish at your hotel in Arusha city.
At around 06:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha City and depart to Tarangire National Park (approximate travel distance of 150km or 3 hours.) Your journey will take you through Masai land, passing various African villages. We will drive past the Arusha Airport, Ngaramtoni ya Chini, Kisongo village, Makuyuni junction and then to Minjingu area. At around 10:30, we will enter the Tarangire National Park that offers vast panoramas of open acacia woodland and grass savannah. Look out for large herds of elephants (often two hundred together) and other unique residents such as fringe-eared Oryx and Lesser kudus. You might see lions, cheetahs and leopards. By midday day we will stop for a hot lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive until around 16H00, when we exit the park and drive back to Arusha City, arriving back at your hotel around 19h00
