DAY 1:LONDOROSSI GATE (2385M) TO B
Kilimanjaro
You will be picked up at your hotel at around 08:00am and transferred to the Lemosho gate located on the western side of Kilimanjaro. After the registration process you will still start our climb steadily through the forests of the Lemosho glades to reach Big Tree camp where you will be spending the night. DAY2:MTI MKUBWA – SHIRA 1 CAMP

We continue on the trail leading out of the rain forest and into a savannah of tall grasses, heather and volcanic rock draped with lichen beards. As we ascend through the lush rolling hills and cross several streams, we reach the Shira Ridge before dropping gently down to Shira 1 Camp. Here we catch our first glimpse of Kibo across the plateau. Accommodation: shira 1 camp

DAY3: SHIRA 2CAMP (3900m)

Your trek starts with an ascent with far-reaching panoramic views, walking in to the climatic zone of the upland desert and on the lava ridges beneath the glaciers of the Western Breach. You will reach the distinct pinnacle of the Lava Tower (4640 m), our high point for the day and a great place to enjoy your lunch. In the afternoon we make a steep descent to our camp for the night, located in the base of the Great Barranco Valley (3960 m), with its giant Senecias and Lobelias.

DAY4: BARRANCO CAMP (3960)

Today will start with the daunting Barranco Wall. Soon you will realize it looks worse than it actually is, but there are tricky sections where you will need to hold on tight. Admire the views from the top. The rest of the route follows along the mountain ridge into the Karanga valley and out. You reach Karanga Camp after lunch and you will have fantastic views of the southern glacier of Kibo as well as of the Kibo summit. Accommodation: Barranco camp

DAY5: KARANGA CAMP (4035m)

A few hours hiking through desolate and rocky moon-like landscape lies ahead. It will be a relatively easy day leading steadily uphill. The goal for today is the Barafu campsite on a narrow ridge in full view of Mawenzi peak. You will walk along a trail that passes through the afro-alpine dessert until you reach your destination for today –Barafu Camp at 4640 m.

DAY6: BARAFU CAMP (4640m)

It is dark and cold as you set off just after midnight. You will climb the frozen volcanic dust by headlamp going towards Stella Point on the crater rim – about six hours. The sun should be rising when you arrive here. Just an hour or two more and you will be standing on the highest point of the crater: Uhuru peak. On top of the world! Take a short break for pictures and celebratory hugs before you tackle the steep and dusty descent. By now the volcanic ash will have thawed

DAY7: MWEKA CAMP9(3080M)

A traditional farewell ceremony from the porters begins the day. After about three hours of comfortably descending through the greenness of the forest, you should reach Mweka gate where the driver will be waiting. Back at the lodge, a hot shower, cold drinks, a debrief and your certificate of achievement are waiting. Well done! Accommodation: Moshi

DAY 8:CHEMKA HOTSPRING-MOSHI

We pick you up from your hotel early in the morning. The road to the Hot Springs is very bumpy and windy, so driving takes more than one hour. During the trip you can enjoy the wonderful scenery and see the authentic Tanzanian life. When we arrive at the Hot Springs you can swim, relax, eat your lunch and enjoy the sun.

DAY 13:NGORONGORO CRATER –BACK TO
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we proceed to descend into the crater and enjoy the game drive by looking at wild animals for more than 7 hours. Here you will explore the forest areas inhabited by monkeys and elephants, where we may see flamingo wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, lion, and elephants, a visitor should enjoy the game drive at Ngorongoro crater by see and view at a wild animal, after a short period you will drive back to Kilimanjaro international airport for your flight to home.
