Arrival Day (Welcome to Zanzibar)
As you arrive at Zanzibar airport or harbor, you will be met by our guide, who will drive you to your hotel in Stone Town for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Stone Town and Prison Island
After breakfast in your hotel, you will head to the historical Stone Town, where you will learn about the events that made Zanzibar a place of great historical significance. You will see the House of Wonders (Beit al-Ajaib), the Palace Museum (People's Palace), the Arab Fort, and the Slave Chambers, amongst many other attractions. You will see and walk through winding alleys as they did many years ago when Zanzibar was a mighty trading power.

Spice Tour
On this day, you will visit a spice farm where you will see, smell, and taste the spices that have earned Zanzibar the name "Spicy Islands". You will learn about the spices and their use in traditional medicine and cooking. Zanzibar has over forty aromatic, spicy plants that were introduced to the island by the Oman Arabs over two hundred years ago. Lunch will be served on the spice farm, where you will get a chance to taste the spices and fruits grown on the farm.

Nungwi Beach and Dolphin Tour
You will spend these two days relaxing at the beach. You will enjoy swimming and water sports such as diving, snorkelling, paragliding, jet skiing, and beach volleyball. The days are complemented by beautiful sunsets in the evening as the sun sets over the ocean. On one of these days, you can also arrange to go out for a dolphin tour in Kizimkazi village, which is on the southern tip of the island.

After breakfast, you will head out for a tour inside Jozani Forest, which is the last remaining sanctuary of the Red Colobus Monkeys. You will stroll inside the forest with a local guide, where you will get a chance to watch the Red Colobus Monkeys in their last wild sanctuary. At Jozani, we will also visit the mangrove swamps and walk around the mangrove forests.

Enjoy breakfast at your beach hotel, and then, depending on when your flight out of Zanzibar leaves, you may enjoy an early morning at the beach before our guide transfers you to Zanzibar Airport for your departure flight back home or to the Tanzanian mainland.
