Day 2: Arusha – Momella Gate - Miri

Climbing time: 5 - 7 hours The second day of your 5 Days 4 - nights Mount Meru Climbing Tour After a breakfast in Arusha, drive to Arusha National Park's first gate for registration. Proceed to Momella Gate, where porters and cook organize supplies for the hike. Enjoy a packed lunch at the gate. Start climbing Mt. Meru, spotting wildlife with an armed ranger. Pass Ngarenanyuki River and a waterfall. Reach Miriakamba Hut in the late afternoon, savor coffee/tea and sunset before dinner.
