Day 1: Arusha – Miriakamba hut

Arusha

Climbing Time: 6 hours The first day of your 4 Days Mount Meru Climbing Tour. In the morning at 08:30am pick up from your hotel in Arusha town and transfer 30 km to Momela gate the starting point of the climbs. At the gate meet with your Africa Rise Safaris team and after all regulations have been finished start ascending the mountain with packed lunch. Miriakamba hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Miriakamba Huts - Saddle Huts

Arusha

Climbing Time: 5 hours The second day of your 4 Days Mount Meru Climbing Tour. Our journey ascends through the rainforest, transitioning to the Moorland zone adorned with vast heather and moorland vegetation. At Saddle Huts, consider trekking to Little Meru (3,820m) for stunning views and acclimatization. Relish an early dinner in preparation for the summit day. Meals include Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 3: Summit day

Arusha

Climbing Time: 12 hours The third day of your 4 Days Mount Meru Climbing Tour. At around midnight, we begin our trek to the summit the trail is steep to Rhino Point (3,800m) and then Cobra Point (4,350m). The path leads us along the ridge of ash and rock to the summit. Take a moment to enjoy the magnificent views of the beautiful Sunrise and Mt. Kilimanjaro at a distance, and celebrate a successful climb before starting the descent to Miriakamba Huts. We enjoy our last dinner on the mountain.

Day 4 Miriakamba to Momella Gate

Arusha

Duration: 2-3 hours of climbing After a long rest and breakfast, we will begin our final descent to Momella gate. We will climb through forest and meadows where it is likely to spot wildlife.At Momella gate you will have your certificate for all who have made it will be rewarded certificates.
