Khwai Community Area has unfenced boundaries allowing wildlife to move freely between the woodlands in the wet season when water is plentiful and back to permanent rivers and lagoons in the dry season.

Itinerary

Day 1: South Africa -Nxai Pan

Arrival in Johannesburg town/ Capetown, and connect a flight to Maun. Arrival in Botswana, are picked up by our Representative and take a scheduled flight to Nxai Pan Park. Adjoining the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park on its northern border, the Nxai Pans were once salt lakes. Take a 4WD sunset or sunrise game drive, or a birdwatching tour. The Nxai Pan is a breeding ground for an impressive list of animals. Overnight: Private mobile camp/ Kwando Nxai Pan tented camp for overnight.

Day 2: Nxai Pan Park

The fossil pans of Nxai Pan offer spectacular, seasonal game-viewing in the rainy season (November - March). Huge herds of Zebra, Wildebeest, Springbok and Gemsbok attract many predators - Lion, Cheetah and both brown and spotted Hyena. This is one of the few areas in Botswana that is more interesting during the rainy season - when huge herds hit the Nxai's grassy pans. Overnight: Kwando Nxai Pan tented camp for overnight. Day 3: Moremi

Moremi

After breakfast, you will transfer to Maun Airport for your charter flight to Muremi. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Camp, where you will spend the next two nights. The afternoon is yours to spend at leisure, either relaxing next to the pool at the lodge, or to partake on an afternoon game drive in the concession. Dinner and overnight at Xakanaxa Camp lodge or similar, on fully-inclusive basis (activities, meals, soft drinks, local drinks and house wines)

Day 4: Moremi

Moremi

You spot amazing things close-up: an insect, animal tracks, big game droppings, swarming termite mounds. Night drives “into the middle of nowhere” are an amazing experience. Don’t say a word, but simply gaze up at the stars and listen to the sounds. Nocturnal animals are out on the prowl— emitting the occasional deep-throated roar. Dinner and overnight at Xakanaxa camp lodge/ Kadizora safari lodge, on fully-inclusive basis (activities, meals, soft drinks, local drinks)

Day 5: Khwai community area

Moremi

Khwai Community Area has unfenced boundaries allowing wildlife to move freely between the woodlands in the wet season. The Khwai area offers the same wildlife experience as the Moremi Game Reserve with the added advantage of being a private concession, which means the ability to do walking safaris and night drives. Don't miss the opportunity to soak up beautiful views of the scenic landscape and spot an array of wildlife. Dinner and overnight at a Saguni safari camp on fully-inclusive basis

Day 6: Khwai community area

Moremi

Today we take game drives and bush walks on our private concession. A cultural tour can also be arranged with the community from Mababe. Spend the day exploring wildlife on the channels. A combination of lagoons and channels of papyrus, the Khwai River is surrounded by little islands that feed off the borders of the river. It is fed by Angola’s summer rains, which take approximately four months to flow down into Botswana. Dinner and overnight at a Saguni Safari camp on fully-inclusive basis

Day 7: Victoria falls

Chobe

Breakfast and leave for Vic falls via Kasane by road transfer. This popular tourist town is compact enough to walk around and makes an ideal base for travelers exploring the seventh wonder of the world, the unfathomably vast Victoria Falls. About two-thirds of the falls can be viewed from the Zimbabwean side and, both adventure seekers and sightseers have plenty of opportunities to warrant a longer stay.
