Day 1: Nalemoru gate to simba camp

On the first day of your 6 days hiking tour, you will start at the Nalemoru gate, located on the northeastern side of Mount Kilimanjaro. The trail winds through lush rainforests, alive with the songs of exotic birds. As you ascend, the air becomes crisper, and you'll catch glimpses of the magnificent mountain peaks in the distance. After a few hours of trekking, you'll reach the Simba Camp, where you'll spend the night under the starry African sky.

Day 4: Kikelewa to kibo hut

On the fourth day, As you depart early the semi-desert zone from the kikelewa early in the morning and begin your hike into the Alpine Desert terrain for the remainder of your ascent. Today’s hike will take you just below the Kibo crater wall to the Kibo Huts. At this point, you will merge with the Marangu Route, which you will use to hike to the summit. You will prepare your clothing and equipment before you go to bed by 7 PM and try to catch a few hours of rest before your summit attempt.

Day 5: kibo to uhuru to horombo

Your will depart at night from Kibo hut and head toward Kilimanjaro's summit: Uhuru Peak 5,895m. Technically speaking, the hike is not difficult, however, at this high altitude, even regular physical activity can feel strenuous. After your successful ascent to Uhuru Peak, you can descend to the nearest glacier, if desired. Then you will return to Kibo hut and after a two-hour rest continue your descent to Horombo 3,720m.

Day 6: Horombo to marangu gate
