Arrival Stone Town

Meet and greet on arrival at the Zanzibar airport. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Stone Town. Overnight at Zanzibar Serena Inn or at Tembo House Hotel based on your preference on a bed and breakfast basis.

Zanzibar Island Spice Tour,

Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for a spice tour. You will visit several spices-growing areas to learn about the nature of the spices, how they are reared, and their uses. You can even taste and purchase some of the spices straight from the source. There is a wide variety of spices and herbs grown in Zanzibar including medicinal herbs, cosmetics plants, and ornamental plants. If the season is right, you will see such interesting spices/herbs as cloves, rambutan, iodine plant, nut meg.

Zanzibar Cultural Tour

Breakfast at the hotel, then depart for a cultural tour to get a firsthand experience of the everyday lives of the Zanzibari people and their enduring traditions. You will visit two very special villages and a local School. Lunch at a restaurant in town, then return to your hotel for relaxation. In the evening, you will go for a sunset cruise along the Stone Town waterfront. Return to the hotel for overnight.
