Day1: Umbwe gate to umbwe Cave

On your first day the kilimanjaro on top tours guide will pick you up from your hotel to umbwe gate, our trek begins at the Umbwe Gate, located at an altitude of approximately 1,800 meters (5,900 feet). The trail starts with a steep ascent through lush rainforest, offering beautiful views of the surrounding scenery. We will reach Umbwe Cave Camp at around 2,850 meters (9,350 feet) where we will spend the night.

Day 2: Umbwe cave to Barranco camp
Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, we will continue our ascent through the moorland zone. The trail gradually becomes steeper, and we will pass through spectacular landscapes, including giant heather and unique plants adapted to the high altitude. We will reach Barranco Camp at approximately 3,950 meters (12,960 feet) for overnight camping.

Day 3: Barranco to karanga camp
Kilimanjaro
Today's trek involves traversing the famous Barranco Wall, a challenging section that requires some scrambling. As we trek, we will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the glaciers and surrounding peaks. After conquering the wall, we will descend into the Karanga Valley and reach Karanga Camp at around 4,200 meters (13,780 feet) for overnight camping.

Day 4: Karanga Camp to Barafu camp

Leaving Karanga Camp, we will continue our ascent towards Barafu Camp, situated at approximately 4,600 meters (15,090 feet). This camp serves as the base for the final push to the summit. Take the opportunity to rest, hydrate, and prepare for the challenging summit night ahead.

Day 5: Barafu to Uhuru, Mweka Camp.

Today is the summit day! We will start our ascent in the early hours of the morning, usually around midnight, to maximize your chances of reaching the summit at sunrise. The trek is physically demanding and mentally challenging, but the rewarding feeling of standing on the "Roof of Africa" at Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters or 19,341 feet) makes it all worthwhile. After celebrating your achievement, we will descend to Mweka Camp at around 3,100 meters (10,170 feet) for a well-deserved rest.

Day 6: Mweka to mweka gate to moshi
Kilimanjaro
On the final day of the tour, we will descend through the rainforest zone to Mweka Gate, where you will receive your well-earned summit certificates. From there, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Moshi, where you can relax and celebrate your successful Kilimanjaro adventure.
