Safari summary

This is a safari of a life time. It takes you to the famous land of Man-eaters lions-Tsavo West, which is the largest national park in Kenya. It gives you a chance to view the famous red elephants among other animals. You also get to spend time at the little known Lake Jipe and enjoy magical views of Lake Chala. Salt lick Safari Lodge also gives you a spectacular views of elephants at a close range with its waterhole location close to the rooms.

Itinerary

DAY 1: NAIROBI TO SALT LICK

Depart from Nairobi at 6.00am. You will cruise through Mombasa Road for about 6 hours to Salt Lick Safari Lodge and arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive at Taita hills sanctuary and if time allows swim at Taita Hills safari lodge. Dinner and overnight at Salt Lick Safari Lodge

DAY 2: SALT LICK -JIPE-CHALA

On this day, you will wake up early at 6.00am for breakfast. You will check out and head to Tsavo West. Enjoy a game drive as you head to Lake Jipe. Enjoy a photographic session at Lake Jipe and then exit the park to River Lumi Resort in Chala for Lunch. You will then head to the scenic Lake Chala, hike down to enjoy a cold swim and hope to catch a magical sunset. This is a crater lake whose sighting is Magical. Overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge.

DAY 3: CHALA-AMBOSELI

After break fast, you will depart for Amboseli to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, enjoy 2 hours of swimming before heading to the park for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Sungura Camp

DAY 4: AMBOSELI-NAIROBI

Early morning breakfast and leave for the park. If the weather favors you, Mt. Kilimanjaro will be out to say good morning to you. Amboseli is the land of Elephants. You will have a good time with the Jumbos and also spot other animals such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalos as well as grazers. You will then, leave the park for Nairobi.
