This astounding diurnal animal has a long and muscular tail that is flattened horizontally and a water repellent fur that is usually chocolate brown and marked with creamy or white blotches over the chest and throat. Their droppings are composed of hundred different scents and about seventeen are thought to have information about their gender and age. Did you know that the spotted-necked otter are agile swimmers and can dive to fourteen meters in the water then spend 4-6 hours foraging in water? Murchison Falls National Park is famously known for having the most powerful waterfall in the world, where the longest river in the world squeezes through a 7-meter gap and then drops down 45 meters. The Falls can be seen from the top, accessible by car or from the bottom accessible by boat, you can even walk to the top of the falls having been dropped off close to the bottom of the falls by boat
