About our safari vehicles
At Ranvic Travel, our vehicle is more than just transport—it's our key to the most remote and rewarding corners of the wilderness. Our custom-outfitted 4-wheel drive Land Cruisers are engineered to handle the toughest challenges the African terrain can offer, from rocky outcrops to deep mud. Here are some of our safari vehicles and their features.
1 . Standard Safari Landcruiser - (6 Seats + Driver)
Key Features
* Seating Capacity: Short Chassis, 6 seats (5 Guaranteed Window Seats + driver/guide).
* Pop-up roof for unobstructed game viewing (to protect from sunshine)
* Winding windows on each side of the vehicle behind the driver’s and co-driver’s seats.
* Roof hatch above the driver/guide and co-driver’s seat.
* The longer hatch extends behind all passenger seats.
* Luggage space is limited, and we recommend about 15 – 20 kgs of luggage per person, preferably in soft bags or soft-cover suitcases.
* A fridge is placed between the two seats at the back.
2. Extended Safari Landcruiser - (8 Seats + Driver)
Key Features
* Extended chassis with a seating capacity of 8 seats (7 Guaranteed window seats + driver/guide)
* Ideal for photographers and any guests who prefer more space in a vehicle.
* Pop-up roof (to protect from sunshine)
* Front roof hatch above the driver / co-driver’s seat that can also be opened.
* Windows are winding or sliding in the rear.
* Luggage space is limited, and we recommend about 15 – 20 kgs of luggage per person, preferably in soft bags or soft cover suitcases.
* The fridge in-between the two passengers in the back seats can be changed to another seat
3. Toyota Land Cruiser 79
Best For:
Photography Safaris, Adventure Safaris, because it is highly customizable, are often converted into open-sided safari vehicles with pop-up roofs and camera mounts. It offers excellent visibility for wildlife photography, making it a favorite for photographers.
