From start to finish, everything was executed with impeccable care and attention. Booking our private tour was seamless, with constant communication from our wonderful rep, Veronica. She checked in before we arrived, ensured we had everything ready, and provided a wealth of useful information to prepare us for the adventure.
On the safari itself, we were blessed with the most amazing guide imaginable—Freddie. He is simply the best: a superb driver, an expert game spotter, and the kindest, most patient guide we could have asked for. freddie drove for hours each day, dedicated to helping us find incredible wildlife. Thanks to his unparalleled skill, we saw the BIG FIVE and MORE all within 4 days! I mentioned that cheetahs are my favorite, and he made it his mission to find them for us not once, but multiple times throughout the trip. It was so special. He constantly went above and beyond, and we always felt completely safe in his hands. If you book with Grey Joy, definitely request Freddie! His knowledge of the wildlife and ecosystems is profound, and we learned so much. You will not regret it.
The accommodations selected by Grey Joy were absolutely perfect. We were wonderfully taken care with delicious food three times a day and a great selection of included drinks (kept cold in a fridge!), like beer, wine, water, soft drinks, and juices. We also appreciated having consistent WiFi and connection in their comfortable 4x4 jeep. The entire experience was outstanding value for money with NO hidden fees whatsoever.
I cannot recommend Grey Joy Safari Adventures highly enough to anyone dreaming of a safari in Tanzania. Book it. You will not regret it. It was PERFECT!

Watching the wildebeest herds stretch across the plains felt like witnessing one of nature’s greatest miracles — endless movement, dust, drama, and life everywhere you look.
Every day brought something unforgettable: lions roaring at sunrise, elephants crossing the road right in front of us, and those quiet moments when the Serengeti is so peaceful it almost doesn’t feel real. Our guide was amazing — knowledgeable, patient, and always knowing exactly where to take us for the best views without the crowds.
The sunsets were a whole experience on their own… warm, golden, and impossible to capture with a camera. By the last day, I felt deeply connected to the land, the wildlife, and the rhythm of the savannah.

Edwin and His team made our safari unforgettable. From start to finish, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Our guide Imma had amazing eyes for spotting wildlife—we saw elephants up close, a shy leopard, and even a family of warthogs running by!
