Established in 1994, Riverhorse Safaris is one of the Zambezi’s original canoe safari operators, offering unforgettable multi-day expeditions along the river’s most scenic and wildlife-rich stretches. Based in Chirundu, we specialize in professionally guided adventures through the Lower Zambezi National Park (LZNP) and adjacent wilderness areas, renowned for their elephant herds, hippos, crocodiles, and exceptional birdlife. About our safari vehicles

Canadian canoes and additional 4x4 Toyota Land cruiser safari vehicle and trailers are used to move canoes, camping gear, and provisions to launch and collection points along the Zambezi.
