About our safari vehicles

We use 4-wheel drive Toyota Land Cruisers on all our safari tours. In order to make your safari as good as possible, we take great care to ensure that the quality of our jeeps is good. To ensure this, the jeeps are taken in for a short service after each trip. Mohamed, who is in charge in northern Tanzania, worked as a mechanic himself when he was younger and so he takes extra care to make sure they are in good condition. We carry extra tyres in all jeeps in case, against all odds, you get a puncture. Our guides/drivers are all very skilled at driving in different weather conditions and on different surfaces. To some of the parks the road is paved, but inside the national parks the surface is often uneven. Although we have good jeeps, it can often get a bit bumpy, but the drivers will adjust the speed to your preference. In addition to driving safety, they have also been trained in service and wildlife. They are in possession of lots of interesting facts about the animals of the savannah and also a lot of exciting stories!
