Our trip to Tanzania was nothing short of extraordinary—an adventure filled with joy, awe, and unforgettable moments. From the vast, golden plains of Tarangire to the breathtaking horizons of Serengeti, and the mystical depths of Ngorongoro, each park revealed its own unique soul and beauty. Thanks to Oldbeast Vacations, we stayed in stunning lodges that felt like a home away from home, perfectly blending comfort with the wild spirit of the land.
Our journey was made truly special by Albert and Walter, an incredible team whose passion and expertise brought the whole experience to life. Walter’s keen eyes and masterful driving skills allowed us to witness countless beautiful animals, including their adorable little offspring, in their natural habitat. Riding safely and swiftly between parks, we felt both exhilarated and cared for.
Albert’s infectious enthusiasm and dedication to sharing knowledge made every moment richer. His warmth and eagerness to teach, combined with his impressive German-speaking skills, left a lasting impression on us. It was clear that this wasn’t just a job for them—it was a heartfelt mission.

We booked a safari 5 Days 4 nights with Tarangire , Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater.
The communications upfront with Mwanne to clarify everything was wasy, fast and informative. Our tourguide Hendry was really experienced and we managed to see the big 5. We were somtimes wondering how his eyes can be that sharp,
Oldbeast Vacations provided really a full service with aiport transportation, sim cards at arrival with 4gb for each and even gave us a room to spare time untill our flight was leaving. That was all included in our tour price.

We had the most amazing time visiting Ngorongoro crater for our 2 day private safari tour!
Naiman our tour guide was amazingly helpful and looked after us very well making sure we had everything we needed from the moment we were picked up from the airport until the moment we were dropped back off! This safari was a once in a lifetime experince for us and Naiman made sure we saw both our favourite animals, lions and elephants..
Regarding everything else, we didnt realise the safari would only be on the first day and by the time we travelled from Arusha (the flight that was booked for us was later in the morning) we only had 3 hours around the park before it closed, so a bit more time to see more animals wouldve been amazing.. we also asked if we'd be able to see animals the next day but understand this needs to be prebooked with the national parks now!
We had also booked the luxury accomodation, we noticed on the website our original accomdoation site was no longer available and it gave the option to stay at Rift Valley or Karatu so we believed paying for luxury we would be staying in their luxury accomodation on those sites.. we stayed on neither, instead on their new lake manyara sites in a safari tent fitted with a toilet and shower, everything was lovely, well equipped, and clean but not what we had originally paid for.. we'd like some clarification on this or a prewarning for this would have been ideal? despite this the new site had amazing views and all the staff were so lovely and welcoming!
The whole experience was amazing but long and tiring for a 3 hour trip, we hope to return one day to experience some more!
