We use 4*4 land cruiser hard top with a popped up rooftop. We also have opensided land rover for day safari trips on a sunny day. Our vehicles are equipped with a mini fridge and charging ports.
My best friend and I just returned from a trip organized by Lekobe Adventures Safaris, and "thank you" doesn't seem like enough to describe how wonderful it was. From start to finish, the level of care and personal attention we received was beyond anything we expected.
A massive thank you to Jessica, who was the heart of our organization. Her dedication is unmatched—she was even there waiting for us at the airport when we returned from our safari! When we realized our initial hotel on Zanzibar wasn’t right for us, she managed to relocate us to the Royal Beach Resort within a single hour. We loved it so much we stayed there both before and after our safari. A special shout-out to Sifa at reception for her warm welcome and Grace at the bar for her bright energy!
The safari was a dream come true. Our guide, Philipe, was a fantastic expert who made every game drive exciting—we were thrilled to successfully spot all of the Big 5! A true highlight was the Serengeti Balloon Safari organized by Jessica through Nyssan Balloon Safaris floating over the plains at sunrise was pure magic.
We felt like royalty at the Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge. The lodge itself is breathtaking, with world-class amenities and views that take your breath away, but it is the staff who truly treat you like family. Augustus took such wonderful, personal care of us, and the F&B Director, Charles, ensured every meal was a delight. We loved that the Chef personally came to our table during meals to ensure we were happy, and we were touched when a waiter hand-picked a fresh grapefruit for our breakfast!
The food was incredible, with all vegetables coming fresh from the lodge's own garden. Every day was filled with warm greetings from the staff and Masai women, and we loved the evening golf car rides back to our room. The highlight was our final night—they surprised us with a heartfelt farewell party and a cake, where the entire staff joined in to sing and dance for us. It was a truly moving experience.
Finally, our time on Zanzibar was made so easy by Suleiman. He didn't just drive us; he accompanied us during all our activities, ensuring we felt safe and welcome everywhere we went.
