Despite the absence of paved roads in Uganda, our well-kept 4×4 vehicles will readily carry you on an adventure parked drive. Our cars for hire have unlimited mileage and we provide discounts to travelers/guests who rent the cars for seven days or longer. We offer full time 4WDs to groups having their safaris in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Burundi. These come with functioning A.C, pop up roof, cooler box/fridge, refreshments and a trained driver guide. We rented a Toyota Prado for 14 days, the contract said "car in excellent condition":1) Completely exhausted suspension 2) Not very effective brakes 3) 4X4 all-wheel drive not working (the renter made us include in the contract the clause not to use it)- 4) Air conditioning not working 5) We were stopped by the police and found out that the vehicle insurance had expired, thankfully they let us go. The renter sent us the new certificate 2 days later. The right headlight was detached from the seat and both lit very little. In all this, both at the time of picking up the car and at the delivery, another person showed up who we later discovered was from another rental company. The first renter, Wilson, with whom we had entered into the negotiation and the contract, did not even deign to know at the end of the contract how the service went.
We have rented cars in Kenya, Malawi, Zambia and Namibia but we had not yet seen such a poor service. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
