Itinerary
Arrival - Welcome/Karibu Tanzania
Upon your arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport you will meet our driver who will transfer you to your Dar Es Salaam Sea Cliff Hotel located by the beach. Given the long flight from your home country and the flight arrival time (international flights are not included as part of this package), once you are checked in at the hotel, you will unwind and rest. Meals will be provided on a half board basis ( Breakfast and Lunch or Dinner ).

Dar Cultural/Historical/City Tour
Approximately 9.00 am after breakfast your guide will pick you up from your hotel and start the tour which you'll see the independence tower, the Azania Front Church, Saint Joseph Cathedral, Askari Monument, The Fish Market, The National Museum, Kariakoo Market, Mwenge Wood Carvers and Makumbusho Village (where you will learn about Tanzanian culture and practice your dance moves with Tanzania traditional dances). After the tour, you will return to your hotel to have lunch and rest.
Sea Cliff Hotel
Nyerere National Park & River Boat
At approximately 7.30 am, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and start the drive directly to Nyerere National Park. You will get to see the country side, and beautiful scenery as the landscape slowly changes. Upon arrival at Nyerere National Park, you will proceed to check in at your hotel. At around 4.00 pm in the evening, you will depart for a sunset river boat safari along the great Rufiji river to spot hippos, crocodiles, birds and enjoy the spectacular sundown.
Selous Riverside Safari Camp
Game Drive + Optional Hot Spring
You will depart early morning after breakfast for an exciting full day safari with packed lunch out in the bush and get chance to see giraffes, elephants, hippos, lions, crocodiles, impalas, warthogs, zebras, cape buffaloes, kudus & countless other wild animals and birds. You will experience the feeling of exclusiveness as the park is huge and enjoy swimming in the hot spring. Your game drive will end early evening and head back to your hotel/camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Selous Riverside Safari Camp
Nyerere National Park to Zanzibar
In the early morning, our driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will meet our driver who will transfer you to Marijani hotel. After checking into your room, your curator will seat down with you to review your itinerary and plans for the following days. You will spend the rest of the day at the hotel relaxing at the beach or by the swimming pool.

Jozani Forest + Dhow Cruise Dinner
After breakfast at approximately 8:30am, you will visit (walking) Jozani Forest which is a home to many endemic species of flora and fauna such as; red colobus monkeys, the magical world of the Zanzibar mangroves and bushbuck. Alternatively you could visit a spice farm to learn about the many spices the island of Zanzibar is known for. In the evening you and your partner will enjoy the traditional "romantic" Dhow Cruise dinner where you will also get to experience a variety of entertainment.
Marijani Hotel
Nungwi/Maasai, & Stone town Tour
After breakfast, you can either choose to go to the Nungwi Aquarium with our driver-guide to swim with the majestic turtles OR opt for a tour of the Maasai Village where you will interact with the people from this “nomadic” tribe as they proudly dance and share their culture with you. You will return to your hotel for lunch and brief rest and depart for Stone Town for a cultural and historical tour. From Stone Town tour you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Goodbye/Kwaheri
Depending on how you booked your international flights, after breakfast, your driver will pick you up and drive you either to Zanzibar international airport for your flight back home OR will take you to Ferry station for you to board a fast boat back to Dar Es Salaam and upon your arrival in Dar Es Salaam, a Duteni Tours driver will be waiting for you at the Ferry and will then take you to Julius Nyerere International Airport for your flight back home. Kwaheri, until we meet again!
